Great for summer in South Florida, otherwise . . .

These lightweight jackets from patagoina suck. They have become very popular, but make no sense. 2+ ounces of down fill???? Come on -- even if it keeps you somewhat warm, they wet-out and clump super fast, so don't sweat or go outside with it -- unless going outside means walking from your car to the mall. For $25 less and less weight (14 ounces), you could get twice the fill weight (5 ounces of 750) with the Rab Microlight. For $14 more, less total weight (12+ ounces) and 3 times the fill weight (7 ounces of 800) you could get the Brooks Range Alpini Hooded anorak.

There are so many better options, this jacket is a joke. I know, from experience.
