The fabric is tough! I took a good fall that left a bruise the size of a dinner plate on the back of my leg...the skin was scraped off my leg right through the pants...but there was zero damage to the pants themselves.

The fit was horrible. I am 6 ft tall and weigh 170 that is pretty darn thin...(I wear a 10 long) but there was zero room for my thighs and bum. I was showing plumbers crack by the end of the first day as the pants streched out and if I tied the little draw string to hold them up my pack rode on the waist band causing uncomfortable rubbing on my hips. When I converted them to shorts they bagged down so low on my legs I couldn't lift my leg up to jump across a stream or climb up a steep slope without yanking the fabric up my thigh...I was wishing for safety pins the modify the darn things. Solution was to roll the waistband down below my hips... I spent 3 days in these pants and was miserable. I tried not to kevitch too mush and drive my packing partner crazy!

I wish the fit was better. I dream of a day I find good convertible pants for tall women.

Nailed It? 2 Yes
