For the price these shoes are great. They are a little narrow which is my only complaint. Lightweight, comfortable, SUPER quiet - sneak into the kitchen after midnight to pack some supplies for your stealth nighttime hike, and not a soul will stir. The treads are phenomenal for even the slickest, steepest terrain. I've climbed insane boulders in these with no problem. And they look awesome.

Never been a "sock person", that is until I got a pair of these absolutely phenomenal socks. Without a doubt the best socks I have ever worn in my entire life and I will never buy any other brand of sock ever again, unless it matches the quality of these. Incredible fit, warm, comfortable, durable, good looking :), what more could you want in a sock? The ability to function as a shoe while creeping around in the woods all night on a couple hits of acid? Because that's what I did when I wore them for the first time. No shoes. Just socks. Feet were warm and protected from prickers, not to mention the advantage of being able to actually feel the earth beneath my feet. I don't even think I'll have to buy another pair of shoes again.
