Great coat

Arc'teryx Alpha SL Jacket - Men's

Serves all possible functions. Total weather protection, weights NOTHING, and can be rolled up and carried with ease. Hood is really well designed. Everything works really well. They've been evolving this jacket for years, and it shows.

Buying my second one, only because I lost my first one. After five years it showed almost no wear. Wish I still had it, I particularly liked the color.

Only caution: it has no hand-warmer pockets.
