...Are you sure? Since posting my original question, I found out the EG2 uses a 43mm wide strap, whereas the EG2.5 uses a 40mm...

Brian, I was wondering that too. I just got this wax in the mail from Dogfunk...the packaging says, "Temperatures are actual snow temperatures, not air."

Burton Custom Snowboard Binding - 09/10

I've heard for a little more money you can move up into a binding from a different brand that'll be lighter and higher quality (e.g., Union). But I'm a newer rider that doesn't ride 50+ days/year, and I'm pretty happy with the Customs so far, for the price! Got an unbeatable deal with dogfunk.com! Definitely recommend over the Freestyle, if you're looking for an entry-level binding. Great colors, and they seem durable. I love Burton's smooth buckles. Loads of adjustments on this binding. These held my boots in just fine. Got 'em toward the end of this season, so we'll see how they hold up next year.
