Trying to decide between the Annum or the Epoch. Any opinions?

Trying to decide between the Annum or the Epoch. Any opinions? I ski mostly backwoods, off trail. Some hills, not huge though. Kinda wanted a ski with a little more turning ability then my Karhu "Test" skis.

Bought these at a local chain (sorry BC, but I needed them that day) and the baskets fell off and were lost on the first use. I made the mistake of assuming the store staff mounted them properly. Today, I bent one recovering from a fall. I didn't strike anything with them. The pole simply bent when I was forcing myself upward. It bent right at the taper.
