This brace is supposed to be for climbers. It's listed under first aid kits for climbers, and it claims to fit into your climbing shoes. In fact, the package even says, "fits into any shoe!" This is a horrible misrepresentation of the product. The black neoprene part would fit reasonably well into a shoe, but the brace itself would only work with a better design of the stretchy white fasten-y parts.
The white straps, which are essential if you want any real support, do not fasten in a place that allows you to get your foot into any type of shoe that is even REMOTELY tight, especially a climbing shoe. They simply aren't long enough to velcro above the foot, meaning that when you're wearing the brace, you have a foot that's about half an inch thicker than normal, meaning there's no way in heck it's fitting into your climbing shoe. They should have made the white straps 2 or 3 inches longer so they would have room to wrap around the foot and ankle and then fasten near the top part of the neoprene sleeve, OUTSIDE OF THE SHOE.
Just to be clear, I purchased the appropriate size for my foot, and I'm definitely not chubby (which would also impact the fit of the brace). It's simply a thoughtlessly designed product.
If you intend to climb in this brace, you'd better not intend to wear real climbing shoes.
