I'm thinking about buying this for small river floating trips. Nothing crazy, just a leisurely float. Now I hear they're giving fines for not wearing a life vest while tubing. Will this be good enough for me not to get a fine? It said its non coast guard approved. I'm trying to avoid a $45 to $75 fine the cheapest way possible.
