I'm short, about 5'8", but with some beeftacular thighs. 18" at a few inches above the knee, and 15" just below the knee before the calf. Would it be better to go with a medium or large? I don't want them to move around, but I also want to be able to feel my legs when riding. Thanks!

Great comfortable shoe...worth the $$$$

I've had these shoes for about 3 months, and used them as everyday wear as well as long walks, light hiking, and cycling. I commute to work every day by bike, so getting a waterproof yet comfortable shoe I can wear all day was important to me. I was a bit apprehensive about the price, but they are worth every damn penny...maybe even a bit more. I've worn these through some downpours on the bike, and arrived at work with dry and warm feet. Pair them with some merino wool socks and your feet (and you) will be happy. I'm going to buy another pair just to keep in the closet for when these ones wear out.
