Gore Bike Wear Phantom SO Jacket - Women's

I ordered this jacket as a rain jacket, so maybe I misunderstood its function when I ordered it. The problem in using this as a rain layer is that where the sleeve intersects the collar, the fabric is loose. The sleeves zip off, which is a nifty feature, but since the sleeve then doesn't actually attach to the collar in anyway, it would be an easy place for rain to get into your jacket. I can't figure out why they didn't just put a velcro closure or something.

The fabric, color, and construction of the jacket is really nice. If the sleeve had some kind of seal at the neck, I would definitely keep it. But as is, it doesn't work for what I need.
