Stoic Merino 150 Bliss Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's

Stoic Merino 150 Bliss Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 May 21, 2011

Have the long sleeve of this and it's great. Makes a great base layer for going skiing in -0 weather or for going out for a run in normal temperatures. Very odor resistant as well, I would wear this to wrestling practice on days I had to sweat off some weight and after being soaked by literally pounds of sweat from me and anyone I practiced with it still smelled okay. Even after sitting on the bathroom floor for several days. The fit is athletic, I'm 5'9" and 168lbs and the medium is perfect.

Mad Rock Phoenix Climbing Shoe - Men's

Mad Rock Phoenix Climbing Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 September 23, 2010

I have nothing to complain about with these shoes. They are best for climbing in the gym, but are still great for climbing outside. They are very comfortable, the rubber is very grippy. I have tried several different styles and brands of shoes but these are my favs.

Stoic Luft Hoody Insulated Sweater - Men's

September 23, 2010

This jacket is seriously good for whatever you want to do(excursions, long Bpack trips, or just chillin.) It makes almost no noise and looks great. The fit is SOMEWHAT slim/athletic so if you're a unusually big person I might recommend an alternative. I haven't met anyone who doesn't think this jacket is sweet. These things keep you warm(even when they're wet), pack down small and have nice cuffs that fit snug around your wrist.

You'll never buy another helmet, or headphones

Giro 2008 Omen Wireless Audio Helmet

Giro 2008 Omen Wireless Audio Helmet

Rating for this product: 5 July 30, 2010

I've got the same audio set up with my Giro G10 helmet I got them off S&C.com for $112. The G10 is a great helmet. I've got a medium and it fits great even though my football helmet size is between L and XL. Listening to tunes on the slopes is great, I dont know how I skied before I had these. There are controls right on the headphone inserts so you can control your iPod or cell, or whatever you play music on, by touching a button or turning a knob at the side of your head. No taking off your gloves and fumbling through your pockets with frozen fingers on a chairlift just to change the song. If you dont have any bluetooth music players I suggest you get 1, but if you dont theres a normal headphone jack and the audio helmet package comes with the cable for it.
Overall I love this audio helmet, the battery lasts a good amount of time, more than a full day on the slope. Listening to ska and doing moguls is pretty sick.
oh yeah and the sound quality is perfect.

Best Oakleys I've ever had.

Oakley Canteen Sunglasses

Oakley Canteen Sunglasses

Rating for this product: 5 July 30, 2010

I got these for a three week canoe trip because my old SG's(cheap ones) had an unfortunate run in with the bottom of a friends foot.
I got Olive w/ Dark Gray lenses. The Olive frame is translucent and looks BA and the Dark Gray lens was great in the direct sun, in cloudy weather, or portaging through the forest. These glasses have a nice wrap around and stay on your face very well.(they never fell off once in 21 days of doing whitewater.) They were comfortable under my whitewater helmet too. Another thing that's great is when these glasses get stepped on(which happened 3 times this trip) the arms just pop off and it's super easy to pop them back on and they're on just as firm as before the arms snapped off. Also the lenses are tough. In 3weeks there are NO scratches or dents to speak of, which is amazing cause I would just throw these in my pocket or clip them on my PFD and I dropped them plenty of times.
Oakley did an amazing job on the Canteens, I highly recommend them for running, biking, canoeing, kyaking, boating, and looking good.
