I am also having the same problem. The corners are being bent inward from the tension, but using the tent stakes will fix this (I hope). Some of the hooks that attach to the poles (especially in the middle) require quite a bit of pulling to secure them. I feel like any more tension on any part of this tent will cause it to snap it in half! I have always used dome style tents, so maybe I am just out of my comfort zone? Besides the tension issue, I like the tent. It is light weight, I like the dual door option. I am 6'2, 195lbs and I can lay flat on my back with a couple inches to spare on each side. If this will be a solo tent, you will have plenty of room for gear. The dog (35lbs) also seemed pleased with her assigned space. Solo assembly was quick once i figured out how the poles were placed. I am trying to decide whether or not to send it back? I will give it 4 out of 5 due to the tension issue everything else seems to be great.
