The North Face Greenland Down Jacket - Women's

I have mixed reviews on this coat, probably not because of the coat but because of what I was looking for. I could only afford one coat this season so I was looking for a very warm coat for snowshoeing and other winter activities but also something that was attractive to wear as an everyday warm coat around town. This coat almost does it but it isn't great for skiing or showshoeing, mostly because of the length and lack of a snow skirt. The length of the coat is short enough that wind does blow up it. I did keep the coat and I've been wearing it often, I have received many compliments on how it looks while wearing it around town and it's plenty warm for that purpose. I'm giving 3 stars for the length, I think if NF solved that this coat would be perfect.

Very Warm Boots

These are by far the warmest boots I have ever owned. I was looking for a good all around snow boot for winter hiking, snowshoeing and just being outdoors. I've been wearing these boots a lot and they are extremely warm, I've been out in 10 degree weather or less for hours and not had any problem with them. They are a little clunky and heavy but I don't mind because they keep me warm. I normally wear a size 6.5... I ordered a 6 and they a perfect with thick socks.
