My boyfriend has narrower feet than average for men and he wears a pair of woman's chacos all the time. He finds them to fit real well and very comfortably.

My new favorite jacket

Arc'teryx Hyllus Hooded Softshell Jacket - Women's

This is my first softshell jacket and first Arc'teryx item. I had tried it on at a store and could not believe the deal on Backcountry.com, that I bought it that same day online.

I wore it while skiing yesterday. It was mostly cloudy, probably sub 50 F. I wore an Under Armour long sleeve running shirt (compression fit) and a tank underneath the jacket, and never had to put on another layer. If I felt cold, it was from the breeze hitting my face while on the chair lifts.

A soft rain began falling as I rode to work on my bike this morning. The jacket kept me warm and somewhat dry. However, the inside of my elbows got wet and in the middle of my belly where water seeped through the zipper (small spot).

Even so, I love this jacket. My boyfriend is jealous. I can't wait to try it out in Yosemite during the winter months.
