I have the 07/08 model and love the vents but like everyone else

I have the 07/08 model and love the vents but like everyone else hate the google keeper. Mine likes to snag and latch onto the carrying strap on my daypack when I lean forward and look up. That is annoying but then the internal frame pops loose on both sides by my temples. This usually happens while I am shooting through the trees, landing a pretty big drop or crashing (which happens more than the other two combined). Is this common with newer models or is mine the exception?

Last year I mounted a pair of Nomads with freerides and after 25 days I didn't want to go back to my BD Havoc with O1s. I decided to pick up a pair of 184 Shamans and sold my Havocs. Due to injury and surgery I had a late start this season. Little snow at A-Basin, and the foot pain from surgery, made these a little work to figure out. Last week I spent four days at Alta and I didn't put on the nomads even once. These skis were the most fun I have had freeheeling! Even when I wimped out into a parrallel turn they floated and carved like nothing I have ridden. I now understand why Ben and the crew at Icelantic only change the graphics!
