Awesome pads!

Six Six One Evo d3o Knee Pad

Six Six One Evo d3o Knee Pad

Rating for this product: 5 August 3, 2010

Hands down... the best knee pads on the market when for looking at the comfort and protection factors. Realize it doesn't get the full shin coverage that many other leg armor options, but that is what helps make is so comfortable.

I wore them dirt jumping the other evening and had a couple bails as well as taking a pedal bash right on the kneecap and barely felt it. As well, I was driving hom in my car for 20 minutes before I realized I still had them on!

My only complaint is the cost. The Kyle Strait models seem similar and are half the cost. I haven't tried them so I can't compare, but I already own the Evos and am stoked so no need to experiment.

Where did Nema come from?

Maybe I'm living in a cave, but I hadn't really heard of Nema. Everything I've bought from them seems well-designed and manufactured. I think my Podium shorts must've been last year's model, but I won't hesitate to get a new pair when mine are toast.

Serious stopping power.

I put these on my all-mountain bike with Saint calipers and it was serious overkill. I have taken them off and replaced with Juicy's cuz I don't need that much power.

I have been trying to sack up and buy a DH frame and these will definitely go on it!

Suh-weet!

Race Face Atlas FR Riser Handlebar

Rating for this product: 5 April 16, 2010

This bar is sweet. It is ridiculously wide so I ended up shaving the ends off quite a bit. That's actually cool cuz it was ridiculously light to begin with. (Compared to my original TruVativ) I'm not about the "bling," but I ordered the agent orange color which, in my humble opinion, makes my bike look bad @ss! Forget the looks though... the added performance and comfort was nice. (the pic was pre-cutting the ends so you can see how wide it comes!)

Great option...

Ryders Eyewear Swerve Pro Sunglasses

Ryders Eyewear Swerve Pro Sunglasses

I love these... I have a big head (both physically and egotistically) and these fit me perfect. I also sweat a lot and my head gets hot easily. I have huge problems with lenses fogging, but the little vents on these rock.

Incidentally, a small headed buddy of my jacked these for a ride and he had quite similar sentiments even though his head shape is significantly different.

The quality is decent, but for the price, I thought they were awesome. Great value.
