Just got back from Peru - was looking for walking sticks - these are great! The expansion is very easy to do - only needed one, so shared the other with a person on the trip...would never have made it up and down Micchu Piccu without it. Good buy. If you are real tall -these are a little short, but for me they were just wonderful... VERY STURDY and easy to pack and carry around. Very happy...will go back to this site again for more gear.....
