I've been rocking Matix since I got my first pair of relaxed fit Triumphs back in 2004. My GF urged me to try the Miners since they were the next "more fitted" fit and they are perfect-loose enough that you don't look like a girl but not baggy enough that you look like a Canadian ledge wigger. Just regular-fit man jeans and now that they've added the 1% spandex they are even better for skating. I'm up to about 7 pairs of Miners. Buy with confidence, worth every penny.

The good: this jacket is very warm, very waterproof, and very comfortable. And when I wear it, I feel cool. I want to walk around and look for stuff that's broken so I can bash it with my elbow and magically make it work again. The pleather material seems pretty rugged, I haven't really put it to the test by riding in it, which brings me to the bad: I don't think I would actually snowboard in this jacket. It's kinda heavy, and not very breathable. I get steamy just taking my dog for walks in it. The slimmer fit makes me feel like I can't move around as well. I know the whole biker/scumbag/roadie for Valient Thorr look is hot right now, but I still prefer looser, lightweight/tech gear for actual on-mountain riding.
The verdict: A sick, stylish, comfortable jacket that may be better suited for the bar/party than the mountain. Not worth $220, but worth the $60 I got it for on WhiskeyMilitia. If you're thinking about it-go ahead and get it. It's a good jacket.

The good:
chamois fits well and has a nice soft pad. The material on the outer shorts is awesome-feather light and very breathable, plus they look like they're made of pinstripe suit material so you feel like Lucky Luciano out riding. The outer shorts are also great for everyday wear with the chamois removed. They're really long and baggy, which I prefer but if that's not your thing than these ain't for you.

The bad:
These shorts were apparently assembled by hand, by blind people, with missing fingers. Velcro on the mp3 pocket ripped from the shorts the first time I opened it, so now I can't keep it shut. The buttons on the loops that secure the liner pretty much exploded the first time I undid them too, I even reassembled and super glued them and they still fell apart the very next time.

The summary:
I really wanted these to be the best short I ever bought as I LOVE the styling and material. But the shoddy construction forces me to give them a "do not buy" rating. Spend your money on Hoss or Fox shorts instead.
