I'm torn between these and the Jet 7's, anybody have some advice? I'm looking for a bouldering, steep, overhang, heel hook, toehook, great performance shoe.

I recommend the Small Osprey rain cover. It's large enough to thoroughly cover the backpack, it won't take much space in the backpack and it is only about 24 bucks, I think.
