I haven't had the opportunity to put it up to backpacking tests but it's a perfect compliment to any layering attire for warmth and breath-ability. I'm a 5'9" guy at 170lbs and this thing fits like a glove.

I'm a very normal sized guy (5'9" at 170lbs) and this is the perfect shirt for my outdoor activities. It keeps me very cool.

This is one of those purchases you wish you could take back.

The feel of the fabric is great, and I really wanted to like how they felt on me but they really just fit like a baggy pair of jeans, and I'm a guy with muscular legs. If you put anything in the pocket on the thigh it will just swing around and constantly hit you to the point of annoyance, and the vents on the knees areas are a laugh, they are not big enough to make a difference. I don't use them for any outdoor activity, basically they're just for walking around the neighborhood or lounging around the house.

I might just buy another pair of these. If I ever have to walk anywhere in winter or be at a bus-stop when it's close to zero I wear these under a pair of jeans and I'm toasty warm.

it's a great shirt for outdoor activities where you want to breathe and not feel too uncovered. However, it is not long enough, in my opinion, for backpacking activities and will easily ride above your hip-belt

These are perfect to help on a dayhike or forth last few miles of the day before you reach camp. The fact that they're cut into cubes helps all that much more

I've tried a bunch of these and they all seem to give me acid reflux. I don't buy them anymore

I own a 3L version and love it. I haven't had a leaking issue and the suction required to drink from it is very comfortable. The only thing that I gripe about is the ease of filling it up. Unless I'm missing something fundamental you have to hold it vertically, but since you're filling it from the side you end up stopping early due to it wanting to fall over. It's a minor annoyance, an I've yet to go backpacking somewhere where water is a real problem to come by so I can't say it's ever been a hindrance.

And that flat back makes it super easy to just slide into and out of your pack.

It's amazingly easy to setup, but beware of getting in and out during a rain. I prefer my MSR Hubba to this, but this takes the cake when weight is a factor

It's great for layering, very breathable, and just the perfect amount of stretchiness. Get it, but be sure to always plan for cold weather

I might just buy five more of these. It's got an amazing feeling on the skin, has a great length and it's just snug enough. I love them as an undershirt and a normal sporty shirt for Disc Golf and Backpacking.

I bought these to replace my previous pair of non-BOA Hedgehogs that I've had for 2+ years. I wanted to see if I would like the BOA system better than traditional laces, and they are very nice. However, I feel like these shoes are stiffer than their non-BOA brethren, and thus a bit less comfortable, hence the 4 stars. If I could buy them again I think I would just stick with the non-BOA, due to the comfort, but I do enjoy the nifty aspect of it.

I'm not a runner, I do however spend a lot of time going up and down hills that are mostly dirt, grass and mud and these are the shoes to do that in. I bought a pair of these 2+ years ago, and in that time I have put a lot of miles on them, and basically beat them to death. The outside fabric is frayed, the teeth of the sole are ground down, or breaking off, and they aren't as waterproof as they once were, but they have stood up to a lot. I've been looking for a replacement, but everything I find doesn't stand up, so I am getting another pair

The green version of this shirt fits great but the blue version is like a linebacker stood in for the sizing.

So warm, soft, and perfect for around the house or in the woods. I would buy more if i needed them but one is enough. the only thing i don't like is the shoulder fabric. It just looks a bit weird, like I'm wearing a hunting jacket.

this bag and fabric is way too bulky for what it should be. I just leave this at home. anyone need it?

It's so light and useful to clip things onto your pack. I wanted a multipurpose 'biner that was lightweight and this fit the bill perfectly.

This weighs so little and gives so much. it has variable light intensity and will even give you red when you don't want to blind yourself or campmates.

I highly suggest this thing. I cannot speak for the battery life, as I have not had to change them yet, but I am not a winter camper so I only use it late at night in the summer

These just did not want to stay on my head. I ended up returning these glasses because they always felt like they were going to fall off if a good breeze came along or I turned real fast.

They had fantastic coverage, and the fact that their lenses were interchangeable was great, but they were not worth the money.

this is one fantastic piece of hardware. Most of my meals are soups, or just require some boiled water, and this device works wonders. It's also highly efficient with the fuel: I've used one 100g (8oz) canister on 8 different meals and it's showing no signs of being empty soon :)

I would buy another if I needed to :)

I am definitely disappointed with this purchase. Their sizing is wrong or the idea of how a wick-away shirt should fit is wrong. It fits like a baggy t-shirt, and I'm not a big guy at all (5'10" 175lbs)

I bought a pair of these for my wife recently, and she couldn't be more happy. She did not have any heavy-duty winter boots, and was very excited to finally have a boot that actually had tread and was waterproof.

The only thing she has mentioned is that they're stiff, so it'll take a lot of short walks to break them in to the point of being nice and comfy.

These were perfect for what I bought them for: something to take the edge off when ice scraping, for a walk around the block, and dexterity while driving.

I did not have particular hopes that they would be an intense winder glove, and they are not, so I had big letdown about them not holding up in the intense cold, which they don't.

Buy these for the 10s - 30s temps and you should find yourself a worthy glove for actions requiring dexterity.
