Nice cap

Capo Tomba Cycling Cap

Capo Tomba Cycling Cap

Rating for this product: 5 May 12, 2010

Well - it's a hat...but a hat is pretty convenient when you're riding in hot weather....it absorbs sweat! Besides from absorbing sweat (and looking great) this cap will provide some shade for your eyes when riding sunny days without your glasses. If it rains, it will also protect you from water (and wind!) cooling your head. My advise: buy it - it's only $15 (even cheaper if you choose one of the other caps - they're as good as this one, it's just design and different taste) :-)

Cutter Premium Road Bike Tubes - 4 Pack

April 16, 2010

Will these tubes fit my SRAM S60 wheels?? Are the valve long enough? Valve needs to be at least 2.8 inches (7cm) long to fit these wheels. Is the valve that long on these tubes?

Good for chilly days - not frost

Pearl Izumi Thermafleece Headband

Pearl Izumi Thermafleece Headband

Rating for this product: 4 December 8, 2009

This headband is very comfortable and will definitely keep your head and ears warm on chilly autumn and spring days - but not during a cold winter ride, since the fabric is not that thick. Weights nothing - keeps you warm. Good for rides in the range of 40 to 60 Fahrenheit (4 to 15 Celsius).

Thermal barrier - yes indeed

Pearl Izumi Elite Thermal Barrier Jacket - Men's

Pearl Izumi Elite Thermal Barrier Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 November 17, 2009

Bought this jacket for autumn and winter training in Connecticut. So far I've been wearing it in both cold and rainy weather - without complaint. This jacket is lightweight, wind and partly water resistant on the front (I guess you could feel some water go through if it's pouring down!). It fits very well - not too tight as it is a winter jacket, not too lose either so it catches the wind. It'll keep you warm even below freezing if you wear a long sleeved under Armour and or a cycling jersey. Back pockets are easy to access, open and close. I have no regrets what so ever about this jacket - only smiles. Buy this jacket if you need something to keep you warm while you're out there enjoying the winter roads.

Cold feet?

Pearl Izumi Wind Shoe Cover

Pearl Izumi Wind Shoe Cover

Rating for this product: 4 October 19, 2009

I bought these covers to keep my feet out of the wind and the cold - and they're awesome! Haven't tried them at freezing temps yet, but at a cold autumn day, they're all you need as long as you're moving along on your bike. They look a bit "freaky" like you've got some kind of latex fettish but that's also what makes them optimal for road racing since they stick 100% close to your feet. Buy them if you need something to keep your feet warm on those chilly wet autumn rides.
