People say these shoes are extraordinarily wide, but if your feet are 3-4E, they just don't work. I went up half a size and they were still a good deal too narrow. If your feet can fit in them, they seem like they'd be a good option.

I got two of these. One locks very well. The gate on the other only has to unscrew about 3/4 of a turn to go from locked to openable. That isn't a very big margin of error and I'm a little nervous to take that one out just because you have to do so little to unlock it. Other than that they seem very solid.

This is a nice shirt. It's pretty lightweight and and has a very nice athletic fit. I'm 5'10'', 150, with a 38'' chest and a medium fits perfectly. It's a little longer than most shirts, but looks normal enough. It's not very scratchy. I tried it out on a six day trip in hot weather and sweat on it like a pig. I washed it in a creek a few times and it didn't smell at all.

I have really wide feet (4E) so it's hard to find boots that fit well, but the wide version of these boots is perfect. They're waterproof, pretty light, have a nice tough sole, and seem durable after about nine months. The thing that really sets these boots is the curved sole. It's almost like a rocker sole, and gives a really smooth step. It takes a lot of the shock out of walking. Hiking is just less painful with these boots. It does have one drawback though. The curve is so significant that I can't fit my sabretooth crampons on them.
If you have wide feet, the wides in these are wonderful. It would be nice if they fit crampons, but I'll take the nice step they give over that.

I haven't had time to try this, but the sizing chart is way off. I have a 30 or 31 inch waist and the small fits me just fine despite saying it's meant for the upper twenties. It's comfortable and seems like a really nice harness for mountaineering, especially with the buckles for the leg loops. Everything feels very sturdy even though it is very lightweight. I'll update this review once I use it.

First impressions: It's a solid ice axe with a comfortable grip and great leash. The curved shaft should be nice on steeper stuff. It's kind of heavy to swing like a tool, but it's not meant to be one. The grip at the end of the shaft is really coarse and feels like it might abrade a glove's palm. This axe is worth the price, especially if you can get it from SAC.

This is a seriously warm bag. I've only tried it in 18 degrees, but I was perfectly toasty. It's not the lightest or most compact, but for the price point, it's downright amazing. For anything slightly better, you'd need to throw down at least another $75. The half zipper takes a little getting used to, but I'd gladly take five seconds longer to get into my bag than carry another 4 ounces.

This is an incredible jacket. There is absolutely nothing about it I would change. The fit is great. I'm 5'10'' with a 38'' chest, and I got a medium. The fit is roomy, but not baggy, so I can comfortably fit lots of layers under it - even a thick down sweater without feeling constricted. It doesn't billow out in the stomach like so many jackets seem to, which I love. The sleeves and body are reasonably long, which provides great coverage. The goretex pro shell breathes incredibly well and is very tough, not to mention ridiculously light weight. This thing packs small and I barely notice it in my pack. Instead of a waterproof main zipper, it has a velcro closed double flap on the outside (and a single flap on the inside for comfort), which I've gotten to like quite a lot. Snow doesn't gum up on it like it does to waterproof zippers, and it's easier to slide since it doesn't have that plasticy coating. The hood is great. It can fit a helmet, or can be cinched down to just fit your head with great visibility. The brim is very protective. The pitzips are huge, and it has a nice internal water bottle pocket. There is nothing not good about this jacket. It is a protective turtle shell that you can look out from to see what the weather's like. Get it

Because of my ridiculously wide feet, I always have a hard time finding boots, but these fit me perfectly. The folded up leather over the tongue opens up after a few hours wearing them, making it a lot wider than when you first try it on. The leather upper makes these great for walking compared to plastic boots, so they're much more comfortable for approaches. I tried these out on Mt. Hood, and they worked great. I started getting a blister on my heel, but then added a liner sock and the problem vanished. I was in about 20 degree weather with a mid weight and light weight sock, and my feet didn't even think about being cold. I think they could handle a good deal colder weather. I wear size 10 shoes, and the 43.5's fit me perfectly. The rigid sole is great, and the build quality is absolutely stellar. They're actually made in ITALY! Not China like the details say. Get these boots while they're still here. They're an absolutely solid all purpose mountaineering boot.

I used these as liner socks for climbing Mt. Hood, and they worked great. They prevented blisters and added some warmth. The fabric is a good deal thicker on the heels and balls of the feet, so that should make it last a good deal longer. They're really comfortable. I wouldn't wear them alone in the winter or early spring just because they're pretty thin. Solid socks.

This jacket seems to incorporate the worst elements of fleece into one awkward package. It's heavy, doesn't compress for packing, and when it gets wet, it STAYS wet. There are no zipper flaps on the main zips or pit zips. This seems like a glaring error in a jacket that's supposed to be windproof, because wind whistles right through that big-toothed zipper and thin cloth right by it. It's really noticeable when it's windy out.
I'm 5'11'' and 145 with long arms, and I got a medium. The arms are a little short the length is fine, but the cut is just awkwardly loose around the chest. I feel like I'm swimming in it. Despite all this, it's still reasonably warm. If you want a moderately warm jacket for sitting around, get this. It'll keep you warm to maybe 25ish walking. If you want a packable, well though out, and athletically cut piece of gear, look elsewhere.

I can't say enough about this pad. It's light, compact, and incredibly comfortable. I upgraded from a thin foam pad, and it's great not having to worry about little bumps and rocks keeping you up all night. It's quick and easy to inflate. The stuff sack seems to be a little bit bigger than it needs to be. I always put a couple of rubber bands around the pad to keep it from unrolling inside the sack. I thought the big ridges would be weird to sleep on at first, but it actually helps to keep you from sliding off (the pad is slightly narrow, but that keeps weight down). I've used mine for almost a year now, and I have no regrets about the purchase. I'd buy it again in a second.

I'm 5'11'' and 142 with a 37'' chest, a medium fits great. I've been warm in it while still in 20 degree weather with just a base layer. Putting just synthetic insulation on the underarms in an interesting choice. It sacrifices a bit of warmth, but it really increases mobility, and actually lets you put your arms down comfortably. This thing packs nicely into a 5''X10'' stuff sack. The wrist cuffs are great at preventing drafts, and unlike other companies' cuffs, actually fit nicely around my skinny wrists All in all, it's a great lightweight does jacket. Highly recommended.
