Salomon Speedcross 2 GTX Trail Running Shoe - Backcountry Exclusive - Men's

I always buy the GTX Salomons, the Comp 3s or Comp 5s or whatever. I recently purchased a pair of mid-height ones and I hated them, so I wanted to go lower, but keep the Gore-Tex. These are DOPE. The first day I had them, I took them out on the trail, through the mud and ice and snow (I admit it was a bit sad to get mud on that nice blue coloring)... the treads are sick. I was walking on steep pitches, up and down, they are insanely comfortable and fit my ankles at just the right level. I buy men's shoes because I have wide feet, I usually wear a 9.5 and ordered an 8.5 and they are perfect, with a bit of room for thicker socks. Best buy of the year, hands down.

Totally not worth it.

Definitely not my favorite MH item. Poor fit for a female, the zipper is annoying and kind of folds below the breast area. Colors are lame and it's way overpriced. I paid $30 for this and I still feel like I got kinda ripped off, but I am keeping it. Overall, not your best bet. Buy the Butter Topper or Power Stretch Hoody.

Awesome snowshoe.

Tubbs Wilderness Series Snowshoe - Women's

These snowshoes are bada$$. I love them. I have beat them to hell and they still work -- I climb up rock faces, I've taken them through 3-4 feet of snow, through drifts, up and down ravines, and after two years of weekly snowshoe excursions the only small problem is that one of the buckle mechanisms is missing a piece of plastic; I always expect them to break, but they are perfect; I wear goretex running shoes and YakTrax underneath them; there is still plenty of room. They're comfortable and will take a lot of crap.

I LOVE this vest!!!

The North Face Vegas Vest - Women's

This is the cutest vest EVER. I LOVE how the fur zips off, though I kind of wish the whole hood zipped off. The elastic backing is awesome and it is so comfortable. It does run small -- I wear a size M in all my other TNF stuff, but I took a L in this -- but it is a super cute vest, especially in the Cherry Stain color. Totally edgy and adorable...I love it.
