Great, strong, lightweight fork.

Magura USA Durin SL MD100SL XC Fork

I have owned Magura forks in the past and have been very satisfied. Never used the lock-out on any of those, or any other brand of forks, so this fork seemed to be something I was looking for. Another thing I was looking for in a fork was something lightweight. The problem with lightweight forks is that you sacrifice rigidness.

Then this fork came along. The dual arch design makes this fork very rigid. The lack of lock-out was a bonus for me and it didn't hurt that it lightened the fork some. I have been riding this fork for the last 3 months and I am very pleased. I am a cross country rider that doesn't take jumps or do drops, etc. So, this fork has been perfect. If you do those sort of things, this fork will not be your best choice.

This fork is set at 100mm with 9mm drop outs. I was weary about ordering this fork based on the option listings. It is not adjustable from 100 - 140mm and does not have maxle like the options suggest. However, it does come in either black or white. I had to make this clear because the other reviewer gave this fork 3 stars due to this fork being listed wrong. It is quite dumb to review a fork based on it being mis-listed.
