Stoic LTWT Sleeping Pad - Short
April 20, 2011
I usually fold in in half, and use it as a padding in my frameless pack, but this guy gets really small. I'd say 10x3 is very doable

Stoic Somnus 30 Sleeping Bag: 30 Degree Down

It might be tight. I'm 6'4", and if I point my toes they hit the end, I'd say it would either fit you perfectly, or be an inch too short

Stoic Microlith Softshell Pant - Men's
March 15, 2011
Given the apparent lack of a fly, ankle zips/shock cord, and 4 or 5 hand warmer pockets, I'd say the weight difference has little to do with fabric weight, ie, they would be very comparable in terms of warmth and whatnot.

Norrøna Lyngen Lightweight Down Jacket - Men's
March 7, 2011
From experience with light weight down sweaters and 100 weight synth insulation, this will be warmer than the clo, and more comfortable across a larger range of temperatures. Given its construction and materials (down), it won't drape, instead puffing around you.

Would I be correct assuming that this shirt is all but identical to the merino composite, minus the merino backer and a different neck?

Stoic Luft Insulated Sweater - Men's
January 24, 2011
I'd say it is marginally warmer than the atom LT. The face fabric is soft, with a smooth hand, micro ripstop. Pretty standard. I can compress my medium down to around the size of a nalgene, would go smaller in a stuff sack.
As for warmth, I wore a t-shirt, 100 weight fleece, and this guy walking 2 miles to the post office a few days ago when it was 7 degrees out, with windchill to -10ish. I was, if anything, too warm. Caveat, my body runs pretty warm, but this sweater works.

Marmot Vars Hooded Fleece Jacket - Men's
January 23, 2011
Decent wind resistance, on par with a heavyweight cotton hoody. Water resistance is low, it seems to have a dwr treatment, so light drops will suspend on the fabric surface, but it soaks through very quickly.

Marmot Midweight Crew - Men's
January 5, 2011
I've never found any synthetic better for moisture management than Lifa, but the marmot layer doesn't smell as awful, also a looser fit, so better in a more casual setting.

La Sportiva Nago Climbing Shoe - Discontinued Rubber
May 6, 2010
I wear 11.5 street shoe, and size 9(42.0) shoes have been comfortable from the start, now they've stretched and aren't a very technical fit
small caveat, I do have low volume feet, so it might not hold true for the fat footed
