My wife bought this windbreaker for my son and I for our bike trip down the California Coast. When I got it, it was just as light as air and could be packed into a very small area. I was not sure it would hold up without tearing. It kept us warm on the cold mornings and it kept the cold breezes out, We were both surprised. The jacket held up very well. In Southern California, I took a fall that left part of my knee, hip, elbow, and shoulder on the pavement, however, the jacket held up under the 15 MPH road impact test great, receiving only a 5 mm hole at the left elbow (the elbow got a 6" road rash). I was very happy the jacket did not rip to shreds. It would be nice to have the hood tucked out of the way more when not in use.
