The North Face VE 25 Tent 3-Person 4-Season

Rating for this product: 5 August 8, 2010

I love this tent. I bought it out of a sense of nostalgia as I had lived in one for 5 weeks on the Kahiltna and Denali. 23 years later, it is still one of the roomiest, bombproof and reliable tents for hideous conditions. I have owned and used a fair few 4 season and expedition tents, and for lounging around and buttoning up in a storm, this is the fave. While it is a weighty beast, if used for a basecamp tent, it will be lush. We humped this up to 17,000' on the West Rib and glad we did. I can't wait to take my children out on their first BC trip, and this is definitely coming.

I've now had these shorts for 3 years and they are still in excellent condition. I've used them for longboard skating, bouldering and pairing up with a collared shirt for sunset dinner in Darwin. I love the velcro sandwich fastener and low profile pocket. It's the first pair I reach for.

Outstanding pfd. I purchased it after trying out a friend's pfd. Easy to paddle in, comfortable, adjustable, and you can store essentials in it.

I spent a lot of time practicing self rescues with it on, an I was happy with the profile.

Don't get too carried away with loading your pfd up with survival gear...it will negate the buoyancy.

I spent a long time chatting to mates before choosing a pfd and I am delighted with the results.
