glad I bought this jacket

The North Face Venture Strider Acclimate Jacket - Womens

I just took this jacket on a 2 week trip to the western US. I wore it nearly everyday, sometimes with the fleece liner, sometimes without. The jacket kept me dry on a 5 hour float/fishing trip on a river in constant rain. Another day it kept me warm and dry in a snow/rain combination in similar conditons. I also removed the fleece liner and wore the fleece alone in dry, cool weather. On warmer, rainy days I wore the shell alone. Instead of 3 jackets, one was all I needed. The only complaint is that the velcro next to the zipper tends to grab the jacket when zipping and unzipping.
