I must first say that I use these shoes not as running shoes, but as hiking shoes. I have also only used the shoes minimally so far, but I have used the mt110 forefather mt101's extensively and I am pleasantly surprised at the changes that they have made. The heel cup is a lot stiffer in the mt110 which seems like it will help a lot with side hilling as a I had some slippage and blister issues with the 101's. The upper also seems like it will be very durable compared to the 101's and the lugs on the bottom offer great traction without noticeably slowing you down.

The colors, however, are butt ugly. Which brings me to the other use. I have them in 'titanium' and I think I could use them as a signalling device!. Hopefully they will dull with use.

I will start with the positives, the material is good and the jacket is very light and comes without the features I would rather do with out. However, the sizing is terrible. I am 6'4" 210lbs with a 34" wait and the xl would fit me if I was standing with my arms by my side. However, I couldn't raise my arms over my head or even put them in front of my because of the super skinny sleeves and strange cut. I returned the xl for an xxl and at least now the sleeves fit appropriately, but the torso is now huge.
I will probably keep this jacket, but make some alterations of my own to see if I can get the fit any better because it is tough to beat the price I got it for. Raw material might be more expensive.

Not terribly durable, but that's thin wool for you. Can get it super sweaty without the stink. Pretty slim fitting I am 6'4" 210 and the xl fits perfectly. The large is tight like a biking jersey should be so I use it for that.

Surprisingly thick material, but still plenty breathable and great durability which makes it a little too heavy to consider for backpacking. The mesh pockets are a definite plus in my book as well as they speed up drying and breathability. The stretch makes it great for climbing, biking, hiking, pretty much anything!

Great material, thin and stretchy. I am 6'4 210 and got the larges. I thought they might be a little tight at first, but they fit perfectly with the stretch of the fabric. I own two pairs so I never have to go a day without them. Wash one and wear the other.

I don't agree with high waistband reviews, it seems fine to me. Material is great, but they tend to ride up over my knees when sitting or taking a big step up. 1/2 length is probably more accurate.

Material is too thick so it absorbs too much water and doesn't dry fast enough. Elastic in waistband seems like it will wear out quickly. Still better than cotton, but I would go with the ex officio's.
