This windshirt is fantastic. I bought it for hiking and backpacking, and I have been wearing it around town a lot, too. The fit is fantastic, somehow roomy and fitted at the same time. The fabric is soft and a not nearly as clammy as some other windshirts (it's still a little clammy if you're really working hard and sweating when it's cold out, though). It breathes really well and is very effective at cutting the wind. It's super light, takes up almost no volume, and seems to be pretty durable - I was worried it would be easy to snag, but it seems pretty sturdy.
The DWR coating is either pretty wimpy or gets worn off really easily, as mine already wets out near the hands and elbows when worn in a decent drizzle. But adding stronger DWR might mean losing some of the excellent breathability, so I'm still very happy with the way this jacket performs. I'll never go without a windshirt again. It's absolutely perfect for physical activity on chilly days, and it can be layered over a fleece jacket to keep you warm when you stop moving.
