good durable economical draws

Black Diamond PosiWire Quickdraw

Black Diamond PosiWire Quickdraw

Rating for this product: 4 June 28, 2011

i used them almost daily on a year-long climbing trip in asia and they definitely have withstood the beating. they are not the lightest draws to travel with, so i recently purchased a set of wild country ultralight draw for that, but for general sport cragging they are very good, especially at the price!

no better tent at this retail price

Kelty Grand Mesa 2 Tent 2-Person 3-Season

Kelty Grand Mesa 2 Tent 2-Person 3-Season

Rating for this product: 5 June 28, 2011

there really isn't. it's lightweight and the design is simple and effective. I used it for an entire year in the backcountry of Alaska - winter to winter, and never had a problem with the tent collapsing due to heavy snow or things getting wet inside the tent over the summer in SE Alaska (where it rains most of the summer). With proper staking and a footprint, this tent will suffice most needs.

Osprey Packs Aether 70 Backpack- 4000-4400cu in

Rating for this product: 5 June 28, 2011

used it for an entire year in the backcountry of alaska - winter spring summer fall winter, and then again on a year-long climbing trip in asia. everything is still in good shape! it distributes weight really well (given that the pack fits ur torso and you pack properly), and all the buckles/straps are extremely useful where they are. comfortable and lightweight for the amount of padding and size of pack. i can't imagine needing a bigger pack.

there simply isn't a better 15F synthetic bag than this. Used it with a liner for a year in the backcountry of Alaska. loved it - it kept me warm, packed down to nothing, all at an affordable price.

La Sportiva Cobra Vibram XS Grip2 Climbing Shoe

La Sportiva Cobra Vibram XS Grip2 Climbing Shoe

Rating for this product: 4 March 31, 2011

these shoes are fantastic! never thought slippers would fit like these do! and they stay on very well. very versatile: great for bouldering and all types of sport climbing.
i wear size 39 in testarossas, and these i can fit into 38 new, but i'd go half a size up unless the cramped toes are an absolute necessity, or if you need those heels to stay in every possible scenario. for comparison, i wear size 41 evolv talons.

Evolv Talon G2 Climbing Shoe

Evolv Talon G2 Climbing Shoe

Rating for this product: 4 March 31, 2011

great shoe! fantastic for vertical to steep climbs. great fit for me, very sensitive and soft all around. five ten's don't fit me as well, but these and sportiva's fit really well.

they aren't as durable though. the upper rubber around the toes are thin and tend to wear fast.

as for sizing, i wear size 41 in the talons, but only 39 in sportiva testarossas.
