strange sizing

I'm 6 foot 2, 170 lbs, with a slim build. I got a Medium thinking it might be too small.
runs very large(even after being shrunk). Wide in the body mostly. sleeves are long enough. It isn't knit around the whole body either, which was a disappointment. (just the sleeves, hood and front of the hoodie are knit)
