I bought the Northface Superlite because I wanted a light down bag that kept me warm in below freezing climates. I just recently went backpacking and camping in the Grand Tetons and noticed that there was a hole in the hood where down constantly leaked. Further to my dismay, starting from the first night i used it, there were cold spots in the bottom where the down had shifted. Their "Ripple Technology" obviously did not work properly. the temperature couldnt have been less that 32, but yet i was cold. So i exchanged it for a Marmot.I was lucky that the backcountry store sticks by their products and is very understanding, unlike the Northface's customer service center.
