Horny Toad Davie Sweater - Men's

Definitely a good buy, not technical in the least bit but looks sharp. 6'3 and 185 and the large fits really well. I bought it on sale, and wouldn't pay full price for it even though i do like it

I'm 6'3, 180 lbs. L or XL? I'm always switching between the two sizes, and have no idea how this shirt will fit.....

Good fit, run a little short though. Look good too, but the fabric ripped the second time i wore them, with no strenuous activity

Black Diamond Vista Tent: 3-Person 3-Season

Black Diamond Vista Tent: 3-Person 3-Season

Rating for this product: 5 April 8, 2009

Its roomy enough for four and its easy to set up no matter what the conditions are. I spent an unexpected rough snow storm out in it and it held like a champ, staying warm and dry. Its not cheap, but a quality investment. I'd buy it again with no hesitation

Ortovox Orange Avalanche Shovel

Ortovox Orange Avalanche Shovel

Spend the extra money and get a metal shovel. Breaking a shovel while frantically digging to find your buddy would be a bad place to be. After a slide avalanche snow can be extremely compressed, so spend the extra ten or twenty to get a blade that won't break

MSR WhisperLite Stove

MSR WhisperLite Stove

Rating for this product: 5 March 18, 2009

The whisperlite kicks ass. Its simple, efficient, and extremely reliable. I've been using it for the past few year, everything from overnights to a 6 week stint in Chile. Its worked for me in every condition and hasn't failed in the four years i've had it. I'd buy it again without hesitation

About What You'd Expect

Armada ANT Pro Alpine Ski

Armada ANT Pro Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 4 March 13, 2009

I bought these ski's because they were used and quite a bit cheaper than any other big mountain ski i could find. I do a lot of backcountry in western montana, and when it comes to powder these can't be beat. Cliffs, pillows, or just straightlining down the steepest hill these the ANT's float and are extremely stable. When it comes to riding in bounds, however, its a different story. Skiing Big Mountain in Whitefish Montana for the weekend proved to be difficult, you definitely have to work to keep an edge. The groomers down to the base get a little exciting when you're guessing whether you can make that final turn as your quads are burning. Overall, a great ski and about as versatile as you can expect from the stiffest big mountain ski you can find. Word
