I have read that mfg has moved to China and the fit and performance of the Sundowner is not what it used to be can anyone comment on this and suggest an alternative. My Sundowners are 15 years old and while their still feel and work great they are showing their age.

I see a few people commenting on the waterproofness of the shell. Can I use a waterproofing spray like nikwax to remedy this.
