Hard saddle to sit on all day

WTB Silverado Team Saddle

This saddle is definately for racing. It is one of the hardest saddles I have ever sat on. In fact I had to finally replace it with a more cushioned one since my butt was going numb and would literally hurt after I rode. If you are looking for a saddle to race on, this is great, but long days in the saddle? I would opt for something else. All in all a good saddle but lacks comfort

5.10s are the only way to go...

Five Ten Karver Shoe - Women's

Being a climber for 16 years I knew 5.10 had the best rubber ever... And after a shoulder injury I got back on the bike with flats...but at the time they only made men's 5.10 shoes and not womens - so I had to ride in sub par shoes that slipped due to the crappy rubber on the bottoms. the minute I saw a pair of women's Karvers I jumped at it... I will never ride with another pair of shoes again. Slippery creek crossings? not a problem, hike a biking on slimy rock? easy. not to mention the time on the bike they literally stick to the peddle so when you pull up on the flats they feel like clipless.. Do not hesitate to buy these shoes for you women that ride flats... they are the ONLY way to go.
