R2 goes everywhere I go. :) Designer of this jacket has attention to many details. The arm-pit area uses a material that is fast drying to free up the sweat quick. Its hand pocket is the biggest around. I was able to put a water bladder in there while the other hand pocket is still free. That’s how big it is. :) Its Polartec is extremely high dense, light, and compressible for its class. Rolling it up makes a wonderful pillow. Have it rub against your face, it is baby smooth and fluffy. Your g.f. will dig it. Using it in the wildness is a luxury in the middle of nowhere. I put on a shell to keep rain or snow away during foul weather.

I like it best that I've gotten two, now. Water rolls off in mild rainy or foggy mornings. After 6 or so wash, water repelling coating was added and worked liked new. Other than the nice smooth next to skin layer and the water repelling characters, I like how light weight and compressible it is. Pit is made of mesh. Also, you can “fold” the whole shirt into its chest pocket and make a tiny pillow. DriClime is the fastest drying material I’ve ever used. It is even faster (hang) drying than SilkWeight Capilene from Patagonia. They are two different shirts for different occasions or layer. These two are almost always in my ultra light pack.

The silkweight is the fastest drying highly compressible garment. I won't leave home without it. :)

Wearing it as the only layer feels like you are not wearing a thing. :)

The only one thing I've tried that is faster drying is DriClim Windshirt. However, if people needed to wet their T to cool off and stay wet cotton is better.
