My goal was to buy a pack that works for a day hike and works for the commute. The 28L size works great- I can stuff my workout clothes + lunch + laptop in when I head into the lab. The laptop container does truly convert to a camelback container and after a week of long day hikes in 40-70 degrees, I have decided this is an awesome day hike bag as well. It allows you to carry enough food + layers for a variety of conditions. When it's not as full, it cinches down well. It's an added plus that the cinch down straps can help keep your nalgenes in if you have them on the sides. I find it very comfortable. Haven't tried the keep dry front pocket yet.

I don't know if I would recommend this for someone with a small torso or a very petite person. But other than that it's darn near perfect, I agree with the others, and I would buy this all over again.

UPF 50, with a wide brim that still allows you to see, and vents, and the under the chin strap is detachable (it ties onto these little loops). The vents are pretty greatn. Note: use this for windy conditions!!! I think this is a good buy. Will be using for a trip to Kauai as well as avoiding the hot Texas sun in my garden and around central Texas. The size M was perfect for me. Not the most stylish but I have gotten too much sun in my day and I'm hoping to keep some out.
Update: this seems to resist smelling pretty well, after my brother borrowed it for a week of long hikes I can't tell that it's any worse for the wear.

I wear a size 4-6 pants and I surprisingly wear an XS in these underwear. They will not work great with your lowest rise pants, as they come up higher in front than some other brand's bikini cut but they work fine with mid rise. I find this cut more comfortable than the boy shorts because the boy shorts have a ton of seams in the crotch area. I love the fabric and they wash well without pilling. The nude print has been a good idea with my khaki hiking pants.

I have this shirt in blue. The Mahdia fabric as the other reviewer stated is lightweight, and really soft... I would say most useful for casual wear or beach cover up type wear. The sleeves are pretty substantial. The V in front is a nice height- not too low that you worry, a nice touch. I plan to probably minimize machine washes to preserve this fabric but this shirt is really comfortable and soft. I can't testify how bomb proof it is but I'm guessing this isn't what you bring back packing or wear when you're going to get super muddy. The pattern's really pretty!

I'm trying to think of how this shirt could be better... and I can't think of anything. It's really lovely and soft. The snaps seem really well attached to the shirt. There is no annoying random button on the sleeve on the underside of your forearm. And, if you can't tell, there are snaps so that you can change the sleeve length. Really it's super comfy and I'm excited to wear it all fall. Would recommend to a friend, ex officio at a great price!

These socks are thin. I bought these because I live in Houston and need to never wear my running shoes with no socks because they smell too much, and my other micros are a little tall for wearing any sort of tennis shoes with shorts or a skirt.

I like these! The special feature of these socks compared to the crap ones at Target are: they have a small cuff for the achilles heel area, and a special elastic band around the arch of the foot. I think it helps them keep their shape and not turn into stretched out Target crappy socks. Also of course the merino wool.

I like smartwool and even though it's a guilty pleasure, will keep buying these socks. Just wished they would last forever! My other smartwools last about 2 years of good wear before my toenail starts wearing a hole. Stupid toenail.

This is a great set up. It's super comfy- works for reclining and works for sitting straight up. It's intuitive to set up. Just keep in mind that when you put it back in its mesh carrying case, put the straps on the inside. It's definitely worth to bring backpacking for camp comfort. Worth every penny at the current price. I used it with my Women's 20" Trail Lite for reference.

This dress is my go-to weekend dress. I'm happy with the super stretchy material that's gone through the wash and stayed just the same. I think the length is nice and the neckline is flattering. I wear it mostly when I'm hanging out/ going around town on the weekend but I think it would would great as a beach cover-up or for other purposes like hiking. It absorbs sweat readily.

So, I would say order this shirt based on your boob size. I ordered a little too big and- well, for some yoga poses I get a little nervous about hanging out.
Pluses: the straps have full clearance of my shoulder blades, which I am a huge fan of.
Minuses: maybe I am supposed to hand wash this top but either way the material seems to be pilling more than I would think for something I have owned maybe 4 months tops.
Good for low impact sports but I wouldn't recommend for running in most cases.

I think this is the right kind of ultralight that I got. It's a great sock, suitable for many uses (hiking, biking, everyday wear, etc). They fit really snugly.
They make some fuzz, I would say, with washing, but it's not bad. Don't throw them in the dryer though!!!

I use this helmet for sport climbing indoor and outdoor. I like it because it has a great fit and doesn't look as bad as some helmets out there. Sizing is easier to do than I thought! Also fairly lightweight.

This is a great hat. very warm, soft merino wool that looks great and has a small fleece cull on the inside which I like a lot.
It is kind of big on me, so I can have my hair up and wear it... I don't know if I have a freakishly small head or not.

overall, great hat! great value (bought it on sale)

I love my hiking boots but they lack a good foot bed. These superfeet do wonders to keep me hiking happy. I think people who say these cost too much are kind of wrong; crappy insoles don't really cut it for me in situations when I want to wear my hiking boots. In my experience they do not need to be replaced over time. Also, they improve the fit of my boots by filling volume. Thumbs up!

I took this backpacking and this compression sack did very well on my polyfill sack which is usually unmanageably large, and made it worthwhile. Before I was thinking I need to buy a lightweight sleeping bag, but this allows me to put that off a while longer. Great gear, essential for backpacking. My boyfriend with an REI compression sack wonders about his material because its so thin; I trust this one.

I took this backpacking and wore it just about a week straight. It is very resilient and the only thing that snags it is my cat:) It wicks well and looks great for a technical long sleeve T... the only thing was, I have a small which fits me great but apparently my arms are too long so I can't really use the thumbholes. Also it could be longer, but I have a really long torso. I would highly recommend this shirt! (especially when it's on sale)
