Got these for a study abroad trip to Costa Rica and decided to test them out before I got there. I wore these around campus during some serious downpours and didn't feel a single drop of rain. I do believe I was the only one not taking the buses that week :)These are very stylish and breath well enough to keep you cool. I'm 5'11" and I got a medium. They're a little baggy but always adjustable with the velcro at the ankles. I would recommend these to anyone looking for the cheapest way to stay absolutely dry in some serious rain.
