I really like this jacket. It is light weight, and there is no lining, but I like that for summer hiking, and it can easily be layered over a fleece. The pit zips are convenient and the jacket can stuff into its own pocket which is fantastic! Backcountry was great when I couldn't decided what size to get. I used the live chat option, and they recommended I buy 2 jackets in 2 different sizes and send back the one that didn't work...with no charge for shipping! So far, has been waterproof during by treks across campus...have yet to try it camping though. I am sure I won't be disappointed. I am 5'5" and about 110 lbs and I ended up going with the x-small. Everyone other northface I own (which is an embarrassingly large amount) is a small, so it does run large. I still have room to layer, and the sleeves were still long enough for my long arms. I like that it isn't shiny like so many raincoats as well.

This is an excellent fleece! Totally windproof and excellent for rainy weather! The only downside is that it can be sort of stiff, but the fleece inside is comfortable. I am 5'5'' and about 115lbs with longer arms, and the small fits great. It would be nice if it had a drawstring in the bottom so I could make it fit better around the torso, but it still looks great. Perfect for wearing around campus as a college student...I can wear it in winter and stay warm, yet wear it in class and not overheat. I live in Wisconsin, and can get by wearing it in 30 degree weather, and even colder if I pair it with a sweatshirt underneath.

I am obsessed with the North Face, and own at least 8 different fleeces. This one is hands down the best! The raised fleece on the inside feels amazing against the skin and is super warm. Water rolls right off the jacket, and it is completely windproof. I am 5'5'' and about 115 lbs and have pretty long arms, and the small fits great. It is a little shorter in the torso than some of their fleeces, but by no means too short. I also find that this jacket is more flexible than other windwalls that I own. LOVE IT!!!!

I love how this jacket looks and fits. The fleece is very soft, and it is form fitting. It isn't particularly thick, but it's great for fall and spring. The sleeves are also pretty long and the monkey cuffs cover your hands nicely on brisk mornings.

Great jacket!!! When they say windproof, they mean windproof!!! I just walked across campus in 19 degree weather, and was warm enough wearing this fleece with only a long sleeve t-shirt underneath. I don't know how a jacket that is so light can be this warm!!!

I have only used it a few times, but I absolutely love it. I have a really narrow waist, but I can easily get the straps tight enough, and they are very comfortable.

I can't wait to get some more use out of it next summer!

I love this backpack, and it is the best that I have ever used! All the pockets are a great size, and the straps are very well padded and comfortable. The fitting is perfect for women. I have a very narrow waist, and on many backpacks I can't get the waist straps tight enough, but with this one I can! The torso adjustments allow for a great fit, and I love how you can remove some of the weight from your shoulders with the straps at the top. I can't wait to use this backpack again!!!

I purchased one of these fleeces several years ago, and I still wear it regularly. It is one of my favorite North Face fleeces. It isn't completely windproof, but it is a thicker fleece, and is great for fall and spring weather. In winter I can pair it with a hoodie and it is warm enought to wear around campus in 20 degree weather. (Trust me, I live in Wisconsin.)

I am 5'5" and about 112, and I wear a small. The sleeves are just right for me, and I have long arms. It isn't quite as fitted as some fleeces, but it works well if you are layering underneath, and by no means looks baggy.

Great light jacket for early fall or spring weather. Wouldn't recommend for temperatures under 40 degrees. I love the monkey cuffs, and it is very light weight and great for layering under winter coats in really cold weather. I have used it for summer backpacking and it was perfect for cooler morning and night temperatures.

I love this jacket because it is so soft, and more fitted. It is my favorite North Face, and I always get complements on it. I have had mine for over a year, and even after washing it looks great. It is warm enough to wear in cold weather, yet breathable enough that when you come indoors you can continue to wear it without overheating. It is not windproof, but I can get by wearing it in 30 degree weather and still be comfortable. It is ideal for fall weather (I live in Wisconsin.)

This jacket is on the shorter side, so if you want a longer torso fit, I would get a bigger size, or a different jacket.

For the price this tent is absolutely everything I wanted. It is light, and I use it for backpacking all the time. I love the rainfly, and it is very waterproof! It is also very easy to put together on your own.
