The North Face Git-A-Long Bib - Women's

The North Face Git-A-Long Bib - Women's

Rating for this product: 3 February 27, 2012

This is the only bib pant I've seen for women in quite some time. I have a TNF ski pant in XS, so I thought that since this is by the same company, the sizing would be the same. Definitely a WRONG assumption.

When laid one on top of the other, the width of the pant was at least 1" narrower than my other pants, which means there's about 2" less fabric around.

Other than that, it seemed like a good bib... I'll update this review once I've tried them out in the snow.

Reef Sandy Flip Flop - Women's

Reef Sandy Flip Flop - Women's

Rating for this product: 3 April 25, 2011

Not bad, but not great. The 2 pair of Tevas I've had were more comfortable from the get-go and better support for my arches. However, it's not bad enough for me to return them. They are cute, so I'll still wear them when I know I'll be going barefoot upon arrival.

Gotta love the plaid

Burton GMP Fly Pant - Women's

Burton GMP Fly Pant - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 April 25, 2011

Love the pattern, the fit, and the fact that I can zip it to my Burton jacket. Unfortunately, after a year of use, the hip seam came apart. I still love these pants, so I really can't complain too much when a seamstress I know was nice enough to fix them for me!

DAKINE Pyramid Studs

DAKINE Pyramid Studs

Rating for this product: 3 April 25, 2011

These little stubs popped off of my board within the first couple of days of use. I'm pretty sure it's because I forgot to follow a set or two. I resorted to using Gorilla Glue and automotive-grade sealant. That got them to stick.

Fits... sorta

Giro TuneUps

Giro TuneUps

Rating for this product: 3 April 25, 2011

Bought these to go into my Giro Prima helmet that comes with ear pads that are designed to get drop-ins. These didn't quite fit, but they work well (sound-wise) and doesn't wiggle around the earpads. The mute button is quite sensitive, so put it in a spot that won't get many accidental touches. If nothing else, it beats wearing earbuds.

Deceptively Thin

Columbia Benton Springs Fleece Jacket - Women's

Columbia Benton Springs Fleece Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 December 3, 2010

Just got my fleece today and was surprised by how thin it felt, considering it is supposed to be a midweight fleece. Well, thickness can be deceiving! For its weight and thickness, it is amazingly warm.

Also, I had purchased the Tidewater color. It is more muted than what I saw displayed on my computer screen. It is closer to a grey-ish pale blue than the darkish teal displayed.

The North Face Khumbu Fleece Jacket - Girls'

January 20, 2010

It depends on how long your arms are. I'm 5'2" and typically wear a Women's S in TNF... Got a Girl's L and the body fit a little loose (you could probably fit a 100 TKA fleece underneath), but the arms were about 1.5" shorter than I'm comfortable with... it still reached the wrist/base of hand, but I like my sleeves a little long.

Awesomely warm

Patagonia Capilene 4 Hooded Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Women's

Patagonia Capilene 4 Hooded Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 November 12, 2009

This is my second Capilene 4 top and is as warm as the other one. I LOVE thumbholes and the placement is a good distance from the cuff, though slightly twisted inward. I'd say the fit is a slim to compression fit, and though there is a deep V in front when the zipper is fully open, wearing anything larger than a tank/cami is a little awkward. Other than that, I love it :o)

Sessions Lucky Plaid Pant - Women's

Sessions Lucky Plaid Pant - Women's

Rating for this product: 2 October 20, 2009

The fit was good... but that's about all that was good about the pants.
The "take-in tabs" at the waist were non-existent. The inseam "vents" are just basically zippered openings with nothing between you & the elements when opened. The interior of the vent rubs uncomfortably against the leg.
