La Sportiva Trango Trek GTX Backpacking Boot - Women's

There is basically nothing that these boots can't handle. I first used these boots last summer backpacking up at 13,000 ft and the mountain that we were hiking was covered in streams and runs from all of the snow melt, but these boots were amazing! Not only do they have one of the best soles on the market, but the vibram is super sticky even when the rocks are slick and water proof. I have a pretty weak ankle, but the support these boots have makes that issue almost nonexistent. All of this year I have been hiking through snow, rain, mud, you name it...and la sportiva's amazing boots have been incredible through it all. I can't rave about them enough, but if you are looking for an insanely light weight boot that you can wear no matter what the conditions are...this is a purchase you will not regret.
