Compared to Bose..

Skullcandy Full Metal Jacket Bud Headphones

Skullcandy Full Metal Jacket Bud Headphones

Rating for this product: 4 January 31, 2010

I will start off my saying I love these headphones. My previous pair were the Bose in-ears and they lasted me 2 years until the cord-to-jack started coming loose.. The sound was unbeatable believe me. Ill give you some pros and cons for the Bose:

PROS(Bose):
-Lots of bass, to where I had to used treble booster for EQ
-The sound quality beat all other in-ears I've ever tried.
-The soft, cushiony tips are a great design; Some people hate the whole "ear plug" design. These are comfortable to where you forget they're there.
-Durable, long lasting. (if you take care of them)

CONS(Bose):
-Very long, rubbery cord that tangles
-Not very stylish
-Won't stay put if you're jogging or something like that. (didnt for me atleast)
-Didn't block enough sound for me. But surprisingly blocked a lot more than I thought- seriously.

Okay so the Bose's quality and sound pretty much make up for all the CONS so for $100 bucks, you can't beat it. Here's some pros and cons for the Skullcandy FMJ's:

PROS(FullMetalJackets):
-Cord is made of a sort of fabric material that never tangles
-Has a mic and call button. (You can pay $120 for Bose in-ears with mic)
-The cord length is perfect
-Look great!
-They really stay put in the ear..I never have to adjust them, Ever!
-Durable, metal design
-Sound iight. Can't complain to much.

CONS(FullMetalJackets):
-Not nearly enough bass for me. (Bose has like 3x more/ the Skullcandy Ink'd budds have a lil more than these)
-Sound quality isn't worth $70 at all.

Okay so my only issue with the FMJ's is the sound- it could be better. If your looking for a good solid pair of headphones that stay in your ear, look way cool, sound okay, and don't bother you to much, get these.

If you want incredible sound quality with A LOT of bass (which i love!) and don't mind paying an extra $30 dollars, then I'd HIGHLY recommend the Bose. They don't look 'cool' but its Bose, what do you expect?..

DC Harper Reversible Full-Zip Hooded Sweatshirt - Men's

DC Harper Reversible Full-Zip Hooded Sweatshirt - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 21, 2010

This is a wonderful hoodie and well worth the money. The fur on the inside is so insanely soft. Its reversable so the inside is completely fur. The fabric doesnt shrink, so you dont need to worry to much bout that when you dry it. It seems to fit
a little short so if your into the big, baggy fit, you prolly wont like it. But yeah, awesome purchase on this thing. I get compliments on it all the time and the ladies really dig the fur. Thanks Backcountry! :)

Now I don't own the one's with the mic, but try messing around with the number of taps. The review above mentioned double tapping and triple tapping. You've most likely gotten it all figured out by now... but hey, maybe someone els would wana know. :)

Okay, so I know this is an unfair comparison but I have to ask.. I own the Bose In-ears and they recently broke (worked flawlessly for over 2 years) So I'm wondering how these would compare.. cuz now my ears are only satisfied with the high end sound.

How does the fit of these compare to the fit of the Gas Cans? I own these and they fit fine on my head, with the occasional slip down the nose a little but no big deal. ..but will the Gas Cans be wearable? i really like em but im worried bout the fit.

Not as expected for a $60.00 hoodie..

Oakley Retro Fade Full-Zip Hooded Sweatshirt - Men's

Oakley Retro Fade Full-Zip Hooded Sweatshirt - Men's

Rating for this product: 2 December 2, 2009

I will say the hoodies style is great.. But style isnt everything here. The quality of the jacket was pretty disappointing. The hood's stitching looks like something I did in school or something when i was 14. And the feeling of the fabric wasnt pleasing at all. Even the fit was a odd..a Large is a lot shorter than my other Large hoodies.. And if u plan on drying this in the dryer, expect a bit of shrinkage. I guess since Oakley is a great glasses brand, they think they can just slap their name on a cheap hoodie and sell em like their glasses..

Not recomended at all. Look somewhere els.

Burton P1.1 Snowboard Binding - 08/09

April 3, 2009

Are these significantly any better than the Cartels? I got the cartels but for some reason, I looked past these and they seem a bit sicker from what I read. Should I exchange Cartels for P1.1??? And I mostly ride park btw.

Burton Cartel Snowboard Binding

Burton Cartel Snowboard Binding

Rating for this product: 4 March 23, 2009

I got the orange ones and they look sick, feel sick, and feel very durable. I've ridden them prolly on 10 different occasions and they performed great. Just remember: Burton is NOT the best when it comes to bindings. These are good bindings but there are better things out there if your picky. Union and Rome are also very recommended. The Cartels were a very good buy and I see them lasting me a couple seasons. I do lots of park with some normal east-coast riding and on those icey conditions, they give me lots of control. The high-back is also a huge plus. Crank em forward and you get some gnarly control on the hard packed/ice. The ankle strap is nice and comfy with no pressure points and the toe strap is good as well. Only downside for me, is that when I think they are tight, they end up loosening up a lot to where the toe strap comes off my toe. Lil annoying but there are worse things that could be wrong. If I were to rate these between 1 and 10.....I'd give em an 8. Btw, if you don't use a Burton board, the 4 holed plate that comes with it is NOT padded like the 3 holed plate.

These gloves RoCk!

Backcountry.com Stoic Inbounds Glove - Men's

Backcountry.com Stoic Inbounds Glove - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 11, 2009

Amazing gloves...fit great, feel great, VERY durable, lots of dexterity, and surprisingly warm. I like that the cuff comes really far up the arm and has a tight fit..keeps the snow out really well. They can get a bit toasty when its not to cold out but I guess that's not as bad as being cold. I went ridin just two days ago and the temp was at 60F the whole day. My hands got a bit sweaty when I wasn't flying down the mountain, but when I started hittin the park, thats when I had to take em off..so I'm sure these are great in cold weather. I got yellow btw...best color. I got a medium and they fit the same as my Drop glove's medium so just get your normal size. Oh yeah...they Nikwax that comes with it is only a lil bit so be sure to buy yourself some when you get these. >>>>>>> "Apply with a non linty rag. Put this in your search bar- item# NIK0032. This item may also work for you. "<<<<<<<<<<

Backcountry.com Stoic Inbounds Glove - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 10, 2009

I just got my gloves like 2 dayz ago and yesterday when I tried them out for the first time, they worked great..hands got a bit sweaty tho. (it was 60 degreez out so nbd) Personally,the Nikwax was really frekin hard to put on evenly. I think I mite ask a question bout that to see if there is a better way to apply it..i used my hand. Anywayz, hands stayed dry, warm, EXTREMELY durable, and they fit great. Never seen a glove as good as these. I even had lots of compliments on them from my friends. So yes, get deez gloves...they worth every penny. I would Highly recommend buying an actual tube of the leather water proof Nikwax if you get deez cuz they only give you like a very little bit. And now I gota get some and pay dumb shipping. eww!

Burton Clash Snowboard

February 8, 2009

Burton is a great choice for those who are just startin, and even the ones who have been ridin for years. I acually started with the Clash. If money is a problem though, i wouldnt go with burton. As you progress, youl see that spendin tons of money when you just start out is unnecessary. at least, thats how it was with me. But if money isnt a prob then this board is perfect. It dont have all that tech in it that you dont need, and its at a reasonable price for what you get. And its an all around board, which means you can explore what you like the most- pipe, park, pow..then go from there. I would recommend the 151. I hope this helped even a lil cuz im like 16 and have been ridin for only 2 years and still am not an expert on snowboards yet..i just know that you can't go wrong with Burton....ever.

Backcountry.com Stoic Inbounds Glove - Men's

January 28, 2009

Now from reading the reviews, they all seem to be skiers. Is this a good snowboarding glove as well? I know it says it's recommended for everything but still. My mom is a skier and her gloves never seem to be the least bit wet. And Im a snowboarder and mine sometimes are. (we both have gor-tex gloves) I don't fall a lot either...so then I got to thinkin....skiers usually have their hands on their poles...but snowboarders have there hands in snow a lot more often then skiers do. (when i buckle my bindings in i like to sit and chill sometimes and my hands are on the ground) so is this really a recommended glove for those 'die-hard' snowboarderz? Or is there something better for around the same price? Sorry for the long question...I just like to type. :)Haha... im like Obsessed with snowboarding so i consider myself a "die hard" rider. I sit alot before i hit a jump or somethin. .....meditate. ;) btw, sick pics dude...I want that life style...
