Just picked up a Ventana, set it up in the living room. Problems as I see them:
1. As the previous poster mentioned the poles are a nightmare, 2 sizes to be forced into sleeves which are too narrow.
2. If 2 people were to share this tent, even for one night if they were not already intimate they would be by morning.
3. The fly does not sufficiently overlap the tub on the sides, and the lower sides cannot be staked out taut. In other words the rain will run down the fly and the weight of the water or the wind will cause the bottom edge of the fly to contact the mesh side panel of the tent proper. Bingo water inside.

To be fair what attracted me to the Ventana was it's small pack size and weight; these are truly a wonder, I also like tents that AREN'T "neutral earth tones". Having camped in high humidity places I really really appreciate the ventilation built into this tent. If it weren't for the fly overlap problem it would be a keeper.
My current tent is a 7 yr old Marmot Swallow which has fly seams that have always leaked like a sieve, but other than the big and bulky pack size is a great design.
Testing a tent in a store or even in your back yard is a good idea, but have someone really hose the thing down, then picture youself trapped inside for at least 12 hours. Your worst nightmare will look good compared to the reality.
Good luck.
