When I can't afford new I shop at my local second hand stores, craigslist, etc. I bought a pair of UGG's for $10 at a second hand store and most of my daughter's clothes are used. That way I didn't have to ask people to give me stuff when I was a single mom. I still save a lot of money buying used!
