Construction, fit and finish are excellent, but the "breathability" claims to me are a little overstated.
Above 70 degrees in active conditions, for me, is a problem. Even with the underarm vents fully open, I feel like I'm steaming up internally.
The term "bulletproof" is dead-on accurate, but I don't think it would let a bullet OUT either.
I am a HUGE fan of this brand, but for me, this jacket is the best fall/mild winter rain shell on the market but not at it's best in warmer, wet weather in active situations as some others imply.
Just my two cents and again, I hold this brand to VERY high standards.
