Everyone seems to love this expensive but totally awesome jacket. I do too but will not dwell on all of the super attributes.

Instead I thought I'd add that I'm a 6'7" and approx 275 lb athletic built guy and the XXL fits me perfectly. The sleeves are long enough, the torso is just right, and my shoulders have plenty of room to move.

Well done, again, ArcTeryx!

Yes, I own both in XXL. The Stinger is roomier in the torso, which I actually like for layering in the brutal cold.

Totally Sweet (for winter biking)

Yep, it costs a fortune but this is one sweet jacket. I use it for a daily bike commute in Minneapolis where it's often 0 degrees or less during my 8 mile ride to/from work. I tried several "biking jackets" but none were big enough or ready for brutal cold.

I wear a thick long-sleeve UnderArmour base layer, thick fleece mid-layer, and the Stinger. I ride comfortably in the brutal cold, no problem.

The collar is HUGE but I love it. As others have noted, one can bury one's face right in it. It's also great (necessary) that the hood is enclosed (they catch air when biking ).

As for sizing, I'm about as big as they come: 6'7" and 275 athletic build (54 XXLT suite with 38" waist). I bought the XXL and it's a perfect fit; plenty of length. The "body" is not tight/fitted but that's good for me as I need to layer to survive. Enjoy!

Excellent for big guys, but tight in armpits

Bought this at super discount for use in/around Minneapolis. Again, this is not an expedition parka but a super warm around-town coat. I got the taupe/green and it's great looking.

I'm about as big as they come: 6'7" 285 former athlete who wears a 54XL suit jacket. This coat is plenty long enough in sleeves and torso. But as mentioned by others, it's a bit tight in the torso and the armpits are surprisingly tight. I wish 3XL was available. I would not have paid $300 for this fit but will accept some tightness for the price I paid.
