Get over the color, if you are looking at your boots when you are skiing, color is the last thing you need to worry about!
This boot is very comfortable and warm. The dual lace on the inside is nice. You can adjust how tight, or loose you want it over your toes. Independently, you can adjust the upper laces for the top of your foot. No annoying inside seams like Solomon. The LVF fit is great for narrow feet.
The front outer toe piece fits tight in the NNN binding. This keeps the ski tail from dropping when you are transitioning from one ski to the other. This helps reduce the swing effort too.
When you are in these boots they tend to have a natural camber that puts a little more weight to the outside of the foot that helps gliding on a flat ski.
The outside carbon support is latterly very stiff, yet easy to bend your ankle and get your knee over the front of the boot.
The outer locking system is the same as a lot of Sidi Road and Mtn Shoes. Easy to tighten and loosen. The only minor draw back is if you have really skinny ankles you have to crank down the latch to get them tight when only wearing light weight socks.
This is really a great , no comprise, high end boot. Even if you are not a racer, they are worth considering. They are that comfortable!
