This was my first sleeping pad purchase. I saw the ad in Backpacker magazine and decided to check out this new gear. I looked at the manufacturers web page and everything looked exactly like what Id want, extra padding to accommodate curves. It seemed like a lot of thought was put into their product. I had rented a thermarest for a previous camping trip so was looking forward to the maiden voyage of my new cushy pad. First off, before you go out read the instructions. It turns out that the pad needs some time to decompress, so leave it out with the valve open for a couple of hours. However it wasnt as cush as I expected, tweaking my back just a bit, even on day 2 of my camping trip with blowing into the valve to give some extra firmness. I tended to roll about and my feet were never on the narrow foot area, and even with purchasing the long model, with my 59 it had little room to spare. Well see how it does on round two, if some breaking in helps it out, but I have my doubts. But its a good pad for the small space it takes up, as it folds in half before rolling up.
