I was trying to round out my quiver of BD Megawatts for our Wastach big days and K2 Coombas with dnyafits as my backcountry "lites." I demoed the BD Zealots(big burly ski that loves to charge) However, I was ether too weak or too small(5'7 165) to really make quick turns with them. The K2 Sidestash answered by prayers. This ski floats and charges in pow and crud, is nimble in chutes, and can rail on the groomers. I have them paired with Marker Barons so it is not exactly the lightest setup but thats what the Coombas and Dynafits are for. Taking the Sidestash to La Grave and Chamonix next month.

These boards charge! I tried a pair today and have some great and not so great thoughts. They love high speeds and smear through pow and crud as opposed to floating and skipping on top like my Megawatts. However, They are not a playful ski but maybe it was just my 5'7 160 frame that couldnt push em'. That said, point em straight down and hold on tight because these babies ski at Mach 10!

Today was my first day on Dynafits. Ive always skied Barons and Fritchies and have always been skeptical about Dynafit performance. I mounted them on my Coombas and use BD method boots. I skinned up over Cardiff pass and skied a Holy Toldeo and then skied back down East Hellgate. I must admit, it took a few minutes to get used to lining up the toe piece and using the heel raiser. That said, these binding exceeded all expectations on uphill and downhill performance. My Barons and Fritchies are now regulated to sidecountry status!

Is there a specific memory card that works with the camera i.e. a brand or model? I bought a memory card PNY Micro that didnt work with the contour HD.I didnt see how to make the adjustments light, sound, ext on the software. To free up space on the disk does just import and erase when the camera is plugged in?

I used these last weekend at Solitude(lots of new pow)I had them mounted with marker barons 2cm forward because word was that they ride on the tails. I took them side country. I charged down steep faces, I negotiated tight steep chutes, and played in the trees. I even took them back into the resort to rip up later afternoon crud! What a ski! Thanks Doug!

Excellent ski in the crud and if you want to carve on the groomers. However, there isn't a lot of flotation in deep pow. I tested these at Alta this weekend. That being said, the Havoc is an excellent all around ski if the conditions are variable.

This jacket rocks! I skiied Alta this week. I did laps off the "High T". Subzero conditions with high winds and snow. The jacket kept out the wind and snow. It also breathed well.
